Who is the person you would think of when the quality 'Noble' flashes on your mind?
Simplicity is a virtue and many leaders are known for their noble nature alongside their business success. I have had the opportunity to experience seeing this virtue during my childhood days.
The legacy of Tatas is known worldwide and having lived in a wonderful city of Jamshedpur, definitely added a lot of virtues right from our childhood days. While we talk about noble people, I actually saw and heard volumes about the noble nature of the leaders. Mr. Ratan Tata, as I grew up knowing more about him, it gave a sense of pride to be part of one of the best schools and the best colony set up by them. Those were the times, when the virtues of honour, integrity and graceful demeanor, actually reflected in every individual who worked in the Tatas. It is a noble legacy created by the world's best group of leaders and is prevalent even today.
Noble nature is not defined by money, caste or creed for sure. It is the highest degree of self-respect and the way we treat others - with equal respect and dignity.
I have met many noble individuals in life, so far and what is best about them is their simplicity and the ability to value others, focus on just the positive attributes and help bring out the best in every individual. The principle of being inclusive and working towards respecting the opinions of others, whether in education, business or life, is a precious quality where a noble heart listens and acts mindfully.
'A lifetime spent in radiating grace and simplicity, lived with dignity and respect for others well-being, is a noble gift to nurture peace and harmony. '
