Day 5 - Be Kind: 21 Days. 21 Virtues for Life .

In a world that is changing each day, with uncertainties looming above , the stories of kindness keeps up faith in humanity. The act of kindness is seen everyday and everywhere, should your eyes perceive it.

Princess Diana, known for her humility and kindness once said, "Carry out a random act of kindness, with no expectation of reward, safe in the knowledge that one day someone might do the same for you.”

🌼Kindness is a virtue that comes naturally. It begins with 'You'. Be kind and considerate of your thoughts and feelings. When you are kind to yourself, you take care of yourself better. You are happier and in sync with your soul's talk and mind's action.

🌼You can be kind to someone you hardly know by helping them out, in any situation. A smile and blessing is assured.

🌼Kindness will only make the world a better place. To show compassion at workplace is a great virtue of a leader or manager. In fact research shows that being kind and polite keeps the team motivated. the quality of work definitely improves and the happiness index rises.

🌼Pets are adorable isn't it? You are always caring towards them. Yet showing kindness to stray dogs or cats, whenever you see them in trouble, is definitely a good way to show humanity. After all every life deserves a share of love and care.

🌼Genuine appreciation sent in written, is being kind and also acknowledging the person's contribution in many a lives. It can be a family member, a friend, a colleague or a well wisher.

🌼To listen patiently is another gesture of showing your kindness. In a world where ' I' or 'me' is the echo, for a change, why not lend a ear to help others feel nice and relaxed.

All humans are all kind in their own ways,it is
just that you have got to realize the virtue and value it.

10 Tips to Recharge Your Peace of Love

The seed of your existence is love.  A universal energy that connects you to anything and everything around you. So who are you then?
Love can be felt for others only when you are full of love. It is very important to love yourself first before we love others. It is quite simple and requires no big research or training. Rise in love with yourself unconditionally.

Self –Love is important in life. The way you cleanse your physical body, inner engineering is all the more important. Eventually, through self awareness, you can recharge your peace to discover that life is light and bright. Peace becomes your natural habitat created with the power of love.
1. You often look in the mirror a number of times, before you step out of the house. Next time, when you do so, admire yourself the way you look. Affirm that you are a BEAUTIFUL being who always wear a smile.
2. Enlist all the GOOD things about you, focus you energy on these while you can also keep a check on your flaws. These flaws or your imperfections should be taken in the right spirit than being negative. Always be kind
and empathetic to your ‘flaws’ and be the confident you.
3. Give no room to ‘Self-Pity’ and ‘Inferiority Complex’. Mistakes are just stepping stones to success. Affirmative words like ‘I AM POSSIBLE’ and ‘I CAN’ will definitely boost you.
4. Always BELIEVE in your abilities and go by your heart. You will surely achieve the desired
goals easily.
5. MISTAKES are like a heavy unwanted baggage, why should you carry them on when you can leave it far behind and walk-free. When you learn to forgive yourself and learn from your mistakes, you will move on in life. You will have a free mind and a happy heart to forgive others as well.
6. TRUST your soul and believe in your dreams. When great people could accomplish their dreams, even you can.
7. Look around to tap on every spring of HAPPINESS. You may be living a hectic life. Even then, you can spare some time admiring the flowers in your backyard, the lush green grass in the lawn. As you nourish your body and mind with food and pleasant thoughts, even plants need love and compassion.
8. The ‘power of GRATITUDE’ is something you know right from schooldays. Get into the habit of thanksgiving every day. Be grateful for many things you have in life - food, shelter, clothing
and the very fact that you are blessed with a wonderful life.
9. Exercise and MEDITATE daily. This is the best way to keep your body and mind healthy. When you are physically fit and mentally calm, you will be more productive in whatever you
choose to do. You will look fresh and feel active always.
10. ACCEPTANCE is the best policy and when you apply this concept in evaluating your own feelings, life becomes easier. Laughter, tears and anger should be expressed than suppressed. It is a natural human phenomenon, so acknowledge it and find your absolute peace.

When you discover the light of love within, you will redefine your purpose of life. You will surely emerge as a happier and healthier person with abundance of peace within and for all. So recharge your peace of love everyday!

MyJampoTales : The Family Neighbor

The principle of altruism and affection was fed into my mind and heart through him,
After my family, it was he with whom I confided my innocent childish tales.

Rarely do you find such gem of person who is affectionate and forever giving
The epitome of sacrifice to remain a chronic bachelor for nursing his ailing mom.

A multi-talented chap who had creative ideas and magical hands
His culinary skills were similar to that of a professional chef, name any and he served it.

He made the festival of lights all the more special with his hand-made crackers
The knowledge about Ayurveda was on his finger-tips and owned a mini in-house medicare.

His friends hailed from all religions, all equally intellects and humble souls
His faith in the Almighty reflected in the  daily practice of gratitude.
He would feed the stray dogs and the sparrows almost on all days
He was God-friendly and recited the holy books of most religions fluently.

A perfectionist and an honest human, quite a mismatch in the showy society
With a generous heart and a simple lifestyle he always remains a man-of-honor.
A neighbour like him was a blessing from the Almighty in my childhood days

He remains as an epitome embodiment of a kind, caring, elderly friend who was a true humanitarian by deeds!

Note: This is a mini-series of my childhood and teen years in Jamshedpur through which I wish to share memorable tales of people, culture, food, festivals and lifestyle in the early 80's  and 90's.  I call it MyJampoTales. Photograph credit goes to Google Images/ Social Media. Thanks for stopping by, to read and rekindle your childhood memories as well.
