Teachers Matter in Every Child's Life

The journey of learning, begins with a teacher, is meaningful through their words of wisdom and the best foundation,
A foundation, where every fear in our subconscious mind is removed through their distinct quality of love and empathy,
Empathy that is embellished in the fine art of recognizing the best in each pupil's talent hub,
Talent that is guided to attain perfection through years of dedicated practice and faith,
Faith of every child as they epitomize their teachers as their true guide, friend and mentor,
A mentor who has a gifted heart that is impartial, forever loving and always positive,
Positive about delivering the right knowledge through their excellent subject matter expertise that is upgraded with time,
Time that teachers make the fullest use of with proper planning and implementation,
Implementation of new ways of teachers makes them unleash their own creativity,
Creativity in their profession that comes to them naturally and effortlessly as they are the warriors
 who only win,
Win because every child's process is their personal responsibility and they invest the precious hours in giving the best shine to every diamond,
Diamonds that stand unique and united as they are processed and chiseled to radiate the best shine,
A shine that is bestowed by the supreme powerhouse of education who ignite the seed of knowledge through ancient wisdom, resilience during present times and humanitarian virtues to flourish
for the lifetime,
A lifetime that seems not enough to thank every teacher for their altruist ways to deliver the best version of a child, thus being rightly respected and loved, next to the parent,
Parents do everything to see their child happy while teachers identify the right string of a child's ability to help them realize the to strike the right chord with the best qualities to lead a happy life.

I am thankful to every teacher in my life who have helped me in every way, to become the best version of me in everything I choose to do.

A Song of the Heart

The spark in the eyes that had a magic she knew

Knew that there was a something deep and special

Special as one would feel when standing by the sea shore

Shore that would help her listen to her soul’s voice

A voice that would otherwise fade away in the chaos of the city

A city that was always ready to gift her the mirage of her dream

A dream that was sure to be fulfilled with faith in focus on the goal

Goal guided by hard work showed way to the dominance of smart work

Work decoded the philosophies of life with the décor of presence

Presence that was stood the test of time year after year for existence

Existence in the manual of the real world with the focus on success

Success that was measured with the adaptability and living others dreams

Dreams that were embellished with the glitters of the monetary and no humanity

Humanity that seemed to lose all significance yet there was a faint light

Light that connected to a magical ray of light touching the most sacred possession of life

Life that was blessed with the purity of thought and intention of the soul

A soul that lost voice in the deafening crowd of the worldly glam and glitz panorama

Panorama of life lead her to a journey adrift to seek the purpose so deep

Deep as she traversed the layers were cleared off the dust with the enduring knowledge

Knowledge as pure as gold that helped the soul glow beyond every boundary

The boundaries based on belief and customs vanished as the floodgates of love opened

A love that showed her the path to listen to her soul’s desire for the greater world

A world that awaited to hear only the inspiring song of the heart through the eyes

The magical eyes that sung to connect souls to identify their ultimate purpose of life

Reliving Dreams. Reconnecting with Stars

Stars

Blessed with the best parents, she grew up in the canopy of unconditional love and affection.

Where virtues of respect, trust, compassion and helping others was an innate habit.

The child who was everyone’s favourite for her gentle smile and her cherubic gestures.

Her eyes had a thousand wishes as such, and she always believed in her dreams.

She would share the wishlist silently with friends at night, as they would assemble forming a galaxy twinkling up in the sky.

She would write small notes in her secret diary and hide it deep under the pile of books somewhere.

She loved admiring the roses and would like the smell of the petals, yet pluck none from her garden.

She adored the bulbul bird’s nest in the creeper and would happily return from school to watch them from a distance.

She had her cute friendship with her Godfather like uncle, who was her genie fulfilling even her smallest of wishes.

She was the branch of a belief system where even though there was a particular religious belief, the doors of the mind was open to the one world one religion concept.

She was fortunate to celebrate every festival, feel the essence of kindness and care in every human irrespective of their class or creed.

All knew that her impromptu demands for the little sweet-sour toffees or the colourful balloons had to be satisfied without any delay.

Her faith in goodness and righteousness was seen in her voice and also her sensitivity.

She would love watching the rain in her backyard and rejoice holding the hailstones in her small palm.

She saw the beautiful world around her that was perfect with the noticeable imperfections that could be taken best care with mindful decisions.

While she follow her heart always and walked her path in life, she travelled to many places, met people of different races.

She then got introduced to the real world that was reverse of what all she had learned or imbibed, yet she chose to hold on to her values.

The journey of life seemed to alter her path of dreams and somewhere she lost her way in the tunnel like maze.

That is when, in the darkness, as if out of nowhere, she could see the light beaming from the sky, as if her long lost friends were right there to help her.

She followed the path shown by her stars and then as if a magical path appeared, she moved on to cherish her dreams with her confident divine smile.

Journey of Life

The journey of life is a circle of experiences that takes us to different places,

Different places connect us to people from different regions and cultures.

The cultures are unique and the belief systems rooted in their lifestyle,

A lifestyle guided by the rules of the society and the demands of the family customs.

Family customs that by no way can be questioned or bend by free will,

Free will that is regarded as a taboo in the highly religiously inflicted society.

A society that is driven by the thoughts of the influential people,

People who have the money and the power to make any amends as per convenience.

Convenience is based on the circumstances and the interests of the stakeholders,

Stakeholders if were to use the power entrusted, with honesty and humanity.

Humanity will definitely bring together every individual as citizens of one world,

A world that will thrive on the virtues of peace, love, compassion and well-being.

Well-being of others as much as one would wish for themselves as a purpose of life,

A life that is focused on finding our own happiness and also helping others find their smiles.

Coz true smiles, have the power to bless the lives of millions in their journey of life.

My Mesmerizing Morning Date

I woke up to experience a magical surprise in the wee hours this morning,

When that ray of my familiar friend touched my eyes and was so glistening.

Like a child I rubbed my eyes, drew the curtain a little further and opened the window for a better view,

To watch my dear friend who seemed to wait patiently just to say ‘Good Morning to you’!

The presence that hour for sure was unusual, yet it brightened the blue sky at dawn beautifully

As we were habituated to greet and smile when it is dark sky at dusk gracefully.

The breeze was cool and the leaves of the branches of the were swaying gently,

The chirping of the birds and the sweet smelling flowers made the view celestial absolutely.

I smiled and promptly realized it was sliding away to make way for the rays of the Sun,

I knew that this was the right moment, if gone I would get none.

I hastily said my gratitude prayer, made my way straight to the hall,

It was still dark inside, I did not waste time in switching on the light at all.

Broke the morning rule, first thing grabbed the mobile, and came back in no time,

I was so much allured by the charm, yet I managed to treasure the memory just in time.

Nature is definitely showing us miracles, these days, just that we ought to be ready to perceive,

I feel happy to share this pleasant moment, ' I woke up to greet my Morning Moon Date and receive '.

The Eye's Candy

There was a twinkle in her eyes, when she heard the candyman’s bicycle bell. Two rupee would be sufficient to get her this desired happiness, that moment. Before he could cross by her house, she scurried to her mother and got the amount. She came running to the gate while her mother was keeping a eye on her, from a distance. This time it was not the regular guy so she was being extra careful.

The man asked which colour that she preferred and she pointed her finger at the pink –white combination, which meant she liked the strawberry flavour. She gave the coins and indoors. She went to the kitchen to show her mother, her most prized possession at that moment. Her mother smiled and also told her to have it after she was done with her lunch. She was not quite ready to listen but then she knew that if she disobeyed, then the chances of getting the candy as and when she desired, would be negligible.  She kept the candy safely on her study table and then went to have her lunch. Now the most common characteristic of children as such is that they tend to forget certain things, which would have meant a lot, for a particular moment, when there is a bigger catch and in her case was television. It was her favourite ‘Tom and Jerry’ cartoon and so she was definite to forget the entire world. As the day was drawing to an end, the 8 year old came exhausted after her enthusiastic play time with her friends. She then washed her hands and feet, chanted the evening prayers quickly, and then as a flash of thought, she recalled about her candy. She went to the room as she knew where exactly she had kept her dear candy. Oh God! It was not there. She searched beneath her books, inside her school bag, under the table and as if it had vanished all of a sudden.  Her tears were right at the brink of her eye, but she controlled it, wondering where to find it.

She went to the backyard, just next to the kitchen and sat on the steps, gazing at the sky.  She always marvelled the moon. Perhaps, there was a divine connection. During her cherubic years, her mother would always show her the Moon in the sky, tell her happy fables and put her to sleep. She was trying to recall where she could have kept it, with eyes scanning the sky horizontally. Her mother called her for dinner and she went with a gloomy face. Her dad asked her about her day and she was answering in a disinterested manner and did not utter a word about the candy. Her mom, intervened with a friendly gesture, tapped on her head, and told about the candyman. Her love for those specific candy was known to all and when her dad asked her how it tasted, her mom was about to say something, when the shift was on the tears rolling down the little ones eyes. Her parents were bewildered and wanted to know of the sudden trigger that made their child cry. They were patient and when she calmed moderately, she narrated the entire story, gasping for breath in the middle. Her mother was patting her back to calm her and then she loosened her arms and then disappeared from the room. Her dad, meanwhile, said that he would get her another one, the next day. The subdued cry was as if instigated, she sobbed and said she knew that the candyman came only once a week with those special variety. He told her to drink water and finish her food. She was eating slowly, still a tear or two trickling down, denoting gradual closure.

Her mom then came in and told her , if she was done with her dinner and crying, to follow her to the kitchen. The candy was right next to the spice box and as per her instructions that she gave her mom (Mom, can you keep the candy in the kitchen as I fear the ants might eat it, I am going out to play).  In the excitement of joining her friends, she completely forgot this bit of the conversation, during her hunt later in the evening. She gave a naughty grin and hugged her mom. She then got  totally involved in her precious candy treat and smiled, up at her Moon.

The Flower Pot Wreath

Azaan lived a dream of achieving the best in life,
In the bleak shadow of reality where his parents lived a humble life under the threat of a knife
His toys were numbered and mostly the discarded broken ones by the rich,
His clothes were those which were worn by the Wazir's son- Nuzich,

The school was a make-shift and he was happy going there,
His teacher who was clad in hijab, was soft-spoken and very kind
The stories that she shared created the vision of a happy world in their minds
Where the people lived in harmony and love in their hearts.

The treaty yet to be signed, was postponing the fate of their hamlet
Perhaps all their prayers were being heard by their very own Allah
The sub-conscious mind was breeding a fear for the multitude
The body and heart was focusing on the present with a hopeful attitude

The judgement day brought in a silence in the air around
Even the sudden honking of the jeep brought a shiver in the spine
He was all set to go to his school, the only shrine of love and peace
The road revealed a strange sight of abandoned vehicles and no gunmen

He was eager to tell the news that perhaps the monsters have fled the city
As he approached the first floor, he could hear the prayer of hope in the name of Allah
The speed of his footsteps increased and he pushed a flower pot off then floor by mistake
He reached the doorstep, smiling and panting, to greet his teacher and paused

In the blink of an eye, he felt a miss of his breath
In the next breath, he opened his eyes to see the ceiling
He felt a numbness in his left side of the body, unable to move due to bruises
Azaan closed his eyes and called out to Allah with tears of mercy

The flower pot was worth 70 innocent lives, all find place in jannat for sure
The snipers could not differentiate it from the sound of the human slayer bomb
All they knew was to react within seconds and target humanity in the name of jihad
Once a shrine for wisdom and faith, now seemed like a graveyard with natural floral wreaths
