MyJampoTales: I See the First Icy Rain

As the thick dark clouds loomed across the sky to make visibility dimmer
The rain brought respite in the scorching summer simmer.
With the force of wind so strong that the branches broke off the guava tree
The sound of the gusty weather tempted me to peep through the window carefree.

The sudden deafening sound of the thunder revoked my plan as I snuggled under my cottony quilt
With the main power supply cut off in our locality, the lightening revealed the canals with piles of silt.
The candle illuminated the darkness in the house one a while with the pitter-patter on the panes
The calculations pertaining to the speed and velocity of light flickered in my memory lanes.

The asbestos sheet on the roof seemed like being subject to stone pelting from the sky
There were familiar voices to heard outside while I opened the widow half way facing the sky.
A chilly feel send goose-pimples as I maneuvered my arms out to feel the numbness
The white irregular pieces strewn in my garden were like snowballs in the muddy, grassy wetness.

The rain has subsided, permission granted, I ventured into my adventure game
At first in the pockets of my skirt and then a steel glass helped store the milky chunks all tame.
I wasn’t the only one, but many in my neighborhood were as busy as me with glee
While I held few white stones in my palms, I could feel the cold arresting my arms, as it formed drops to flee.

Before the era when technology rules, the first feel of the icy rain was truly blissful
As I perceived the hailstorm with joy , the white ice stones still remain amazingly beautiful.

MyJampoTales : The Family Neighbor

The principle of altruism and affection was fed into my mind and heart through him,
After my family, it was he with whom I confided my innocent childish tales.

Rarely do you find such gem of person who is affectionate and forever giving
The epitome of sacrifice to remain a chronic bachelor for nursing his ailing mom.

A multi-talented chap who had creative ideas and magical hands
His culinary skills were similar to that of a professional chef, name any and he served it.

He made the festival of lights all the more special with his hand-made crackers
The knowledge about Ayurveda was on his finger-tips and owned a mini in-house medicare.

His friends hailed from all religions, all equally intellects and humble souls
His faith in the Almighty reflected in the  daily practice of gratitude.
He would feed the stray dogs and the sparrows almost on all days
He was God-friendly and recited the holy books of most religions fluently.

A perfectionist and an honest human, quite a mismatch in the showy society
With a generous heart and a simple lifestyle he always remains a man-of-honor.
A neighbour like him was a blessing from the Almighty in my childhood days

He remains as an epitome embodiment of a kind, caring, elderly friend who was a true humanitarian by deeds!

Seeking the Soulmate

"The journey is from beyond thousand miles that I have come along
The thirst within me gave the immense courage to fly alone
Each time the ray of hope sparkled, it was a mirage of an oasis
Each time I was thinking it to be the destiny, the path blurred my vision
Call me an alchemist, yet the thirst made me desperate at times
A drop or two for some respite, like the sweet nectar from the desert rose
While I saw other seekers on the way, theirs’ seemed ages long
The thought of my desire vaporised into the thin air for the unseen

I was enduring the truth of my existence through magical signs and dreams
While I chose to evolve higher and focused, I discovered my precious fortune
It was not you I was craving for, as you satiate my longing only this moment
I was mistaken by my bodily thirst and wandered in lethargy for miles
Blessed am I to be guided by light workers to help me connect with the divine soulmate”

I am grateful for the beautiful stories shared by authors to help people realize their dreams. Dreams of love, treasure, peace, fame and also to connect with like-minded people. Soulmates with a common purpose of doing good to everyone around and spread the light of peace, love, compassion and harmony in the world."

Treasure the moments in life, while it lasts

#GratitudeBlinks

Day2:
"As the Sun rose high up the sky. The clouds absorbed its saffron, orange and yellow hues while sailing freely in the sky.
When the world was yet to begin a time-tied day, the sky painted a perfect portrait to make my day.
While I would have to travel miles away from the city to witness sunrise. The view from my home brought it closer to me while I brew Sunrise.

Am glad I could click the Picasso moment exactly in time. Am grateful for having been able to perceive the divine masterpiece well on time."

We have to be thankful for some rare moments in our lives. The beautiful moments are to be enjoyed to the fullest in that time of occurrence with love. This transmits a positive vibe in our body and mind. To begin a long day with a natural surprise along with our daily positive rituals is a bonus indeed!

A Walk by the Lake

GratitudeBlinks

Day1:

"A lake like this seems a bliss. With a thousand Lotus blossoming, to give my eyes not a miss.
With a wonderful natural floral decor swaying and swooning.
The weeds and plants giving a picturesque evening.
Seems more like a painting by mother Nature.
My soul feels refreshed as I capture the moment with gratitude in nature."

Research proves, that a walk in the woods or quality time spent in the midst of Nature is highly therapeutic as it rekindles our creative mind and helps us focus in accomplishing our goals better. Goals here mean the true purpose of our life. To be happy, peaceful, mindful, soulful and healthy. Breathe in the freshness of Nature everyday and experience the change.

Celebrating International Women's Day: The Lightworkers of Love and Compassion !

She left her home and family to a far away land that was not safe. Her upbringing was royal and she went to the best schools where the elite went. The reason for choosing this journey was termed insane by her family who loved her dearly. Her friends were skeptical yet she chose to go. They need to be heard and I shall be their medium.
Months passed and she was totally dedicated to her humanitarian deed. Perhaps she was paid minimal amount for her highly risky job but she was a minimalist and loved to connect with people in dire need and offer help through words and help them reach millions through her camera lens. The small children who were once feeling insecure and almost wandering on the streets deprived of basic food felt she was their savior. She helped them get food and shelter in the refugee camp. In her spare time, she read out inspiring stories, taught them how to read and write. She was rewarded with their innocent smiles and the people also liked her as she was truly compassionate. They got courage to voice their opinion and fight for their right to freedom. The War zone was not a laden with flowers but strewn with dead bodies and dilapidated buildings. She slept on a wooden cot with no bedding but just a pink blanket that she had brought from home and was dear to her.  She gave the blanket to a child later as he was shivering with fever. She ate the same food that was given to other refugees. She was content that she was serving the people in the best possible way.

The luxurious life that she abandoned was only a memory now. She was near to seeing the people breathing the fresh air of freedom and was all set to return back home. It was a sunny day and the gusty air was not really a pleasant omen. She was going to a nearby site to check on the children when suddenly she heard a rattle and a thud. There was a shrill sound that reverberated in her gentile ear and she could only see darkness. She could hear people running hither and thither, the ambulance alarm that from a distance until she became insensitive to these sounds or her own breath.  The next day, her name came in the newspaper on the front page. A child is seen holding her blanket and a broken slate near her. – God Loves You Always! The people in that region still recall her as a brave soul who had the guts to face the guns with her guts. She taught them faith, self-respect, courage and left behind memories in their heart. She had captured true heartbreaking emotions that shook the whole world and called for peace. She was a warrior of light and an angel of love for those shattered by the bombings and cross-firing.

She was just like any other woman. She chose humanity to the perfect lifestyle essayed to her from her childhood. She had her imperfections. She believed in her heart. A woman sacrificed her luxuries to help children and people who were struggling for survival during war. She was a daughter, a lover, a sister, a friend and above all an altruistic through her deeds. Period.

Why is it that it takes 365 days in a year to wish ‘Happy International Women’s Day’? In the world of equality, women have been proving themselves each day as a mother, as a sister, as a wife or as a professional relentlessly.   She expects no praise or materialistic gifting certificates for her roles today. She truly believes in unconditional love and self- respect.  She believes that every human whether it is a boy or a girl, a man or a woman, deserves to be treated with humility and compassion.

In the end, only 3 things matter – how much you loved, how gently you lived and how gracefully you let go things not meant for you for a bigger purpose in life.

A Love Like That Heals Hearts, Owing Nothing

From the day I belonged to human race, I have seen you
From the time I started connecting with the world , I have known you
I can always approach you and you listen uncomplainingly with silence
I can always trust you as I confide the deepest secrets in silence
When I cherish lovely precious moments, you are happy for me
When I am low and seek guidance, your spark cheers me
No matter the distance, you connect with me in my prayers!
No matter even if I am busy, you always connect me in your prayers!

You greet me each time with a smile when I am all set to call it a day
You amuse me with your magical aura when everyone calls it a day
Where do you gather the pure bright rays of energy, I wonder?
How do you always greet me with a charming smile, without wonder?
Even when the darkness looms endlessly upon us two
You are sure to make your absence felt between us two
I can sit for hours talking to you with curious eyes!
You seem tireless and reciprocate with your bright eyes!

I love the breeze that makes my eyes flicker in ease
I love this way that you bless me with peace
I walk in the woods and you watch over me with love
I wander in the dark and you light my path with love
I always ask ways I may repay you back for everything
It is my every little gesture of love or humanity that means everything
What kind of bond is this that is always refreshing!
Your magical presence every time makes it more yearning!

You owe me nothing my dear because you belong to me as love
I exist for Universal humanity that believes in giving the world abundant love
Your life is precious and a blessing as you cherish and share with me
I shall always be there to uplift you whenever you seek me
I am loved by the Universe yet I seek my only Soulmate
We complete each other beyond sight, destined to stay as unseen Soulmate
While he fades away upon dusk to see me shine bright at night always!
Your legacy of unconditional love is witnessed by stars, sky and the Earth always!
