The year 2013 took off well for all good news. I hear of friends’ wedding, lucrative pay packages along with desired job promotions, child births and emerging entrepreneurs. Friends need not tweet or chat every day, it is about being part of each other’s life in a special way and when you actually need them ATM (Any Time Most). The list is unending though, let me share the happiness of a select few of mine!
Let me start with my childhood friend who is more my sister by destiny .We hail from 2 extreme cultures but are strongly bond by love and togetherness. We have known each other right from the age of 10 I believe and we share the same love and affection even today. She gave me the most awaited news of her new-born son. It was a moment to rejoice and feel blessed by God with the news of her acquiring the motherhood status.
My journo friend is more like my mirror. She is definitely a happiness mantra in anyone’s life. Professionally perfect and personally lovable, just that she is a certified forgetful human by nature. No offenses because I love reminding her even if she misses to call. She has been in her hometown and the job was getting monotonous. She was even planning for a shift. Until when things changed to her favor and she is getting to explore and cover interesting happenings in her very own city .Passion for work definitely is her cup of coffee and am sure she will brew more amazing stories soon.
One of my dearest college friend started her new venture after a 4 year sabbatical from the corporate world and I feel honored to have contributed my bit in terms of promoting her venture. Few friends remain for the life time. We have kept in touch in times of happiness and hay days. Am happy to have a friend like her and wish her loads of success as an entrepreneur.
My angel friend cum maternal sister came into my life again this year. Surely a blessing this year for me. She has always been there for me in times of high and low. I believe that there are some distinct humans like her, who just know the language of love and who have the power to cast a smile of hope, belief and motivation in anyone’s life. I am so happy that I got a chance to meet her this year after a decade. One of the most humble human beings on earth I say who speaks her heart through her wonderful blog.
I have a good friend who has always been there even after we parted ways years back in our respective careers. He has a select few friends whom he trusts and keeps in touch. An honest and trustworthy chap who loves his family a lot. The only concern I had was that he is not that social, his talent was undermined and he would often become a loner confined to a few pals. Recently he joined another company and is glad for the right break. I see him smile more often, interact with clients internationally and spend quality time enjoying life with new friends. Am so happy for him and his improved lifestyle.
Friendship is a blessing. It is like strong radar that helps you stay connected no matter how distant they reside. Friends no matter where they are share the same language of love and happiness universally!
