Treasure the moments in life, while it lasts

#GratitudeBlinks

Day2:
"As the Sun rose high up the sky. The clouds absorbed its saffron, orange and yellow hues while sailing freely in the sky.
When the world was yet to begin a time-tied day, the sky painted a perfect portrait to make my day.
While I would have to travel miles away from the city to witness sunrise. The view from my home brought it closer to me while I brew Sunrise.

Am glad I could click the Picasso moment exactly in time. Am grateful for having been able to perceive the divine masterpiece well on time."

We have to be thankful for some rare moments in our lives. The beautiful moments are to be enjoyed to the fullest in that time of occurrence with love. This transmits a positive vibe in our body and mind. To begin a long day with a natural surprise along with our daily positive rituals is a bonus indeed!

A Walk by the Lake

GratitudeBlinks

Day1:

"A lake like this seems a bliss. With a thousand Lotus blossoming, to give my eyes not a miss.
With a wonderful natural floral decor swaying and swooning.
The weeds and plants giving a picturesque evening.
Seems more like a painting by mother Nature.
My soul feels refreshed as I capture the moment with gratitude in nature."

Research proves, that a walk in the woods or quality time spent in the midst of Nature is highly therapeutic as it rekindles our creative mind and helps us focus in accomplishing our goals better. Goals here mean the true purpose of our life. To be happy, peaceful, mindful, soulful and healthy. Breathe in the freshness of Nature everyday and experience the change.

Celebrating International Women's Day: The Lightworkers of Love and Compassion !

She left her home and family to a far away land that was not safe. Her upbringing was royal and she went to the best schools where the elite went. The reason for choosing this journey was termed insane by her family who loved her dearly. Her friends were skeptical yet she chose to go. They need to be heard and I shall be their medium.
Months passed and she was totally dedicated to her humanitarian deed. Perhaps she was paid minimal amount for her highly risky job but she was a minimalist and loved to connect with people in dire need and offer help through words and help them reach millions through her camera lens. The small children who were once feeling insecure and almost wandering on the streets deprived of basic food felt she was their savior. She helped them get food and shelter in the refugee camp. In her spare time, she read out inspiring stories, taught them how to read and write. She was rewarded with their innocent smiles and the people also liked her as she was truly compassionate. They got courage to voice their opinion and fight for their right to freedom. The War zone was not a laden with flowers but strewn with dead bodies and dilapidated buildings. She slept on a wooden cot with no bedding but just a pink blanket that she had brought from home and was dear to her.  She gave the blanket to a child later as he was shivering with fever. She ate the same food that was given to other refugees. She was content that she was serving the people in the best possible way.

The luxurious life that she abandoned was only a memory now. She was near to seeing the people breathing the fresh air of freedom and was all set to return back home. It was a sunny day and the gusty air was not really a pleasant omen. She was going to a nearby site to check on the children when suddenly she heard a rattle and a thud. There was a shrill sound that reverberated in her gentile ear and she could only see darkness. She could hear people running hither and thither, the ambulance alarm that from a distance until she became insensitive to these sounds or her own breath.  The next day, her name came in the newspaper on the front page. A child is seen holding her blanket and a broken slate near her. – God Loves You Always! The people in that region still recall her as a brave soul who had the guts to face the guns with her guts. She taught them faith, self-respect, courage and left behind memories in their heart. She had captured true heartbreaking emotions that shook the whole world and called for peace. She was a warrior of light and an angel of love for those shattered by the bombings and cross-firing.

She was just like any other woman. She chose humanity to the perfect lifestyle essayed to her from her childhood. She had her imperfections. She believed in her heart. A woman sacrificed her luxuries to help children and people who were struggling for survival during war. She was a daughter, a lover, a sister, a friend and above all an altruistic through her deeds. Period.

Why is it that it takes 365 days in a year to wish ‘Happy International Women’s Day’? In the world of equality, women have been proving themselves each day as a mother, as a sister, as a wife or as a professional relentlessly.   She expects no praise or materialistic gifting certificates for her roles today. She truly believes in unconditional love and self- respect.  She believes that every human whether it is a boy or a girl, a man or a woman, deserves to be treated with humility and compassion.

In the end, only 3 things matter – how much you loved, how gently you lived and how gracefully you let go things not meant for you for a bigger purpose in life.

A Love Like That Heals Hearts, Owing Nothing

From the day I belonged to human race, I have seen you
From the time I started connecting with the world , I have known you
I can always approach you and you listen uncomplainingly with silence
I can always trust you as I confide the deepest secrets in silence
When I cherish lovely precious moments, you are happy for me
When I am low and seek guidance, your spark cheers me
No matter the distance, you connect with me in my prayers!
No matter even if I am busy, you always connect me in your prayers!

You greet me each time with a smile when I am all set to call it a day
You amuse me with your magical aura when everyone calls it a day
Where do you gather the pure bright rays of energy, I wonder?
How do you always greet me with a charming smile, without wonder?
Even when the darkness looms endlessly upon us two
You are sure to make your absence felt between us two
I can sit for hours talking to you with curious eyes!
You seem tireless and reciprocate with your bright eyes!

I love the breeze that makes my eyes flicker in ease
I love this way that you bless me with peace
I walk in the woods and you watch over me with love
I wander in the dark and you light my path with love
I always ask ways I may repay you back for everything
It is my every little gesture of love or humanity that means everything
What kind of bond is this that is always refreshing!
Your magical presence every time makes it more yearning!

You owe me nothing my dear because you belong to me as love
I exist for Universal humanity that believes in giving the world abundant love
Your life is precious and a blessing as you cherish and share with me
I shall always be there to uplift you whenever you seek me
I am loved by the Universe yet I seek my only Soulmate
We complete each other beyond sight, destined to stay as unseen Soulmate
While he fades away upon dusk to see me shine bright at night always!
Your legacy of unconditional love is witnessed by stars, sky and the Earth always!

The Write Journey from White to Right

“Write’ seems so simple. Quite unique but when we actually pronounce it, we hear it as right. Isn’t it?
So we all have the ‘Right to Write’. It is only a select few who actually have the ability and the knack to express ideas and thoughts in paper. Let’s take for instance, how we begin to write?

Remember the first time a chalk and a slate was handed onto us as a toddler and we were told to write the first words. There was no pressure upon us. We could write endlessly, wipe off the slate and write again. A box of colorful chalks did wonders, a couple of them would unknowingly enter your mouth. Upon being noticed, would be instructed not to treat it that way, rather to use it for its sole purpose. Nevertheless our fickle mind somehow enjoys tasting the chalk once a while, being unnoticed.

The initial masterpiece replicates crow’s-droppings. The scribbling gradually expands its reach to fill the walls, the floor, dining table, newly painted doors and places that are meant to be kept clean and tidy.

Then time nears to get started with proper schooling. By then we are a little older and we know the basics of alphabets and to-be-known words. Life changes hereon. We get into a new atmosphere of rules and regulations. They call it cursive writing. Huh! Initially, an impossible task to write in flowing strokes between the lines. More because we are used to the freedom of writing or rather scribbling anywhere and anyhow and now that we are glued to norms. Well, gradually we learnt the art of writing correctly and clearly. But, wait a minute, do we become writers’ at this stage. Definitely not.

The human mind is termed complex and interesting. Most children are given the same inputs when it comes knows what it is to write. But as time passes by and age grows, so does the ability of children to understand the depth of writing for a purpose. Some imbibe the creative style of writing for a reason. Others confine to what is expected to be written. Expression of thoughts and ideas verbally is quite different from when it comes to writing our thoughts on paper.

Well, there is no right way to write. But we all have the right to write in our best possible way to express ourselves beyond what is delivered during our early tuition as a toddler. The secret lies in encouraging what our heart guides us through. So even if we do not excel in cursive writing, relax! All that matters is how well we explore the creative world by writing our thoughts to make others realize the essence of truth. The truth maybe anything that is under and beyond the Sun.

We all have a writer within us! We all! We all can express our thoughts our style, without bothering about rules. A simple word can do wonders! Right?

The Surrender to White Grade, Foster's Compassion

She woke up unwillingly because it was White day
How on earth she thought can there be such a terror!
She folded her White dress in a cover and tucked it in the already heavy school bag
Even when the books she took were according to the time table
An extra bag for her lunch box and water bottle and she is ready

The Long ‘Tring’ bell rang and all students at their best, in their seat
The focus on the board while the teacher explained theories were mandatory
Or a chalk piece would come straight onto the distracted, as a reminder
She was an attentive student, humble and always in the good books of all
One could easily get the feel of gentleness from her simple innocent looks

She wished that the hours stretched a little longer than the usual
What if the white class was cancelled if there was a rain shower?
What if the new beast like terrifying figure did not turn up to school?
As the thoughts rolled, time galloped and she saw the fear nearing
There was no excuse of staying back as the rules did not allow so
She changed into the white attire as her fellow girls and followed
She felt a shiver, her nerve pull, her legs pulling her back in her mind.
Finally the rough, unpleasant voice greeted them all with a smirk
To start with, two big rounds of the playground, move on
She froze to death as it was not her day for sure
She was shown no mercy and she did as the others
When asked for a consideration, by the regular coach
She laughed and said, It is all a lie, all others can do, why not she?

Her class friends empathized but who could afford a low grade standing by the right.
After one round, her breath gave up and she was sweating, yet she never gave up
There was not even an iota of humanity trickling in those pale dead eyes
Finally, she felt the earth stop and she hit the dry grass, thud
At first no one noticed and they were way ahead, then the girls ran back to help

She was slowly lifted and with support brought to the open theatre space
She had slight bruises on her knee but was gasping for breath continuously
They brought water, sprinkled it on her face, she felt helpless and breathless
Her best friend felt her pain more and was by her side till she came back to normal
The beasty figure looked worried, suggested that she be taken to the resting room
The Bell rang for the lunch break and she went back to her class
The White Day incident was scary yet she thought to keep silent about it
She was really good in her academics, even with lesser grade in Sports, she could manage

The next week, the White day came again but then she was calm
She just wanted to face the fear and allow things to happen the natural way
We cannot change this devil mind, her friends whispered
The schedule all set to begin, she was ready to run for her breath
She closed her eyes, prayed to God, when suddenly she heard her name
Perhaps yet another sneer, she thought so and was all set to jog
She heard her name again, loud and clear, in disbelief, she turned behind
She was told to sit, while the others completed the rounds.
She sat obediently and gratitude to God was pouring in.
The other aerobics sessions were fine and easy for her.
The beast turned an Angel without having to plead or request, she thought.
Compassion blossoms suddenly in the seemingly heartless people.
